Halloween Costume Ideas 2013 - The 90s

*Note: This will be my last Halloween costume idea for this year. As usual, I got overly ambitious and was unable to come through with more ideas. I ran out of steam already! I hope you enjoyed the few ideas that I was able to come up with. My apologies! #FAIL

Oh, the 90s! The era of roller blades and Tamagotchis! The 90s was a pretty fun decade, but the fashion was atrocious! There were some cute things here and there, but overall, I would have to give 90s fashion a disappointing D+! But as a Halloween costume, 90s fashion is awesome! So much to work with here! Below are some items I found that can be included in a 90s costume (Some things that are not shown below but would be a great addition to your 90s costume include: baggy jeans, choker necklaces, and parachute pants). Also, don't forget to hit up your local thrift stores too. No doubt you'll find some gems in there!

Halloween Costume Ideas 2013 - Miley Cyrus

Say what you will about Miley Cyrus, but this girl's got style! Who needs pants?! Not Miley! She 'bout that life! Okay, I'm done now! But if you want to get this look, here are the basics of what you'll need: a white crop top, (super short) black high waisted shorts, black thigh high boots, a bomber jacket, and a few necklaces of varying lengths. And for the finishing touch, don't forget to paint both your nails and lips in a bright red color! Voila! You've got Miley!

Halloween Costume Ideas 2013 - Tina Belcher (Bob's Burgers)

I'm starting a new mini-series for Halloween (which is one of my favorite holidays)! Each week, I'll post at least one Halloween costume idea. I'm kicking it off with a simple costume of one of the funniest and strangest characters on a cartoon series, Tina Belcher (from Bob's Burgers). If you haven't watched the show, you should! It's hilarious and Tina is one of the best characters on the show. She's an odd girl (with a zombie fetish), but she's also very lovable!

As I said before, Tina's look is very simple. All you need is a light blue tee, navy miniskirt, white tube socks with a red stripe, black and white Chuck's, and black thick framed glasses. You'll also need a yellow hair clip too. That was a little tricky for me to find but you can buy this hair clip online if you can't find one in stores near you. So there you have it!
