What a unique treasure I discovered today! I don't think I've ever seen such a cute crochet pencil skirt before! What makes this skirt stand out is that fact that it's unlined. Such a bold risk, but it works! If you're daring, you can just wear nude (meaning whatever shade your skin is) underwear underneath the skirt. But if you're a bit more modest, a half-slip would be a better option.

Peplums are the perfect choice for anyone who has concerns about their midsection. They flow nicely over and away from the belly which creates a beautiful hourglass shape that is very flattering. You do have to be careful though with peplums. Whenever choosing an item with a peplum on it, make sure that the peplum is long enough to adequately cover your midsection. Peplums that are too short look very awkward. This dress is a wonderful example of what a good peplum should look like. This super chic little black dress is so versatile and would make the perfect addition to your closet.

Can't decide whether to wear a white tee or a black one? Well, now you don't have to choose thanks to this interesting t-shirt by Topman (I would probably name this shirt "Indecision," but I guess "Half Tie Dye Crewneck T-Shirt" works too)! It's a more subdued rendition of a tie dye print that focuses more on the contrast between black and the white by splitting it vertically, rather than the nuances that our found blended in the traditional, colorful tie dye prints. The tacked-down, cuffed sleeves are also a nice touch that adds a little more detail to an otherwise simple (yet stylish) shirt.

Fall is right around the corner and you know what that means...time get your boots on! We all need a good pair of boots to carry us through this wonderful season, and boy did I find a good pair today! These shoes feature a suede snakeskin pattern upper and gunmetal accents that give the boots some texture and creates more interest. The cool thing about gunmetal is that it matches with both gold and silver accessories so you don't have to worry about clashing (side note: of course you can wear gold and silver together, but metal mixing takes a little bit of skill to make it work without looking like a mistake).

So I have a little confession to make. I'm afraid of accessories! I mean, I LOVE accessories, but I sometimes find the variety of choice so overwhelming that I tend to not buy too many of them.And I've noticed that men usually don't wear very many accessories either, and I'm thinking it might be for the same reason. Too many choices! Well, I've chosen an accessory today that I think some guys might be able to get into. It's called a collar chain, and they're not as common as other forms of accessories (which means fewer choices, which leads to easier decision-making). This one I chose has a rose clip design and comes in a brassy color which shouldn't be too hard to match with shirts you already have. Anyways, I think it's worth a try to ease yourself into vast (yet wonderful) world of accessories!

It's a sweatshirt that will have your shoulders feeling cool all day long. You know why? Because the shoulders have zippers on them! What won't they think of next?! 

Despite my sardonicism, I actually really do like this sweatshirt! It's a great twist on a classic. You can't go wrong with that!

What a treasure I found today! It's always such a joy for me to find stuff that combines my favorite elements all in one item. Today we have this awesome t-shirt that combines three things that I love in one. First, you guessed it, leopard print! This leopard print is stylized (which basically means that it is an artistic interpretation of something that occurs in nature or is traditional; ex: a rose design made by only using geometric shapes) which makes the shirt a bit more interesting. Next, I love that it's a long, relaxed fit t-shirt because these kinds of shirts are really comfy and they're fun to style. And finally, my favorite thing about this shirt is the giant "NO" on the front! "No" is my favorite word (it was probably my first word too)! I just love to say no! No. No. No, no, no! See!

As a general rule, I'm pretty much over button-down chiffon tops. BUT...for some reason, this one spoke to me! And what's even more strange is that I am NOT a fan of polka dots AT ALL! Why is this top so cute to me? I think I'm just going to have to accept this strange occurrence and keep it movin'!

Every woman should have at least one good maxi dress in her closet. They are essential! They're the easiest thing to throw on when you don't feel like putting together a look with separates and they're really comfortable! This maxi dress (available for purchase here) is so cool! It combines several elements that I love together: including print mixing, cap-sleeves, and slits. And a great thing about this maxi is that the colors and the print will carry through all seasons pretty well (you can throw on a cute cardi or blazer during the colder months and just wear it as is during the warmer ones).

And the best thing about a dress like this is that because it's so simple, you can go crazy with accessories!

This crop top is beyond fly! You can pair it with a cute maxi like they did in this photo, or you can rock it with a fun graphic pencil skirt like this one. I have to admit that this top might present a bit of a problem for those of us who aren't blessed with "perky girls" because the back of this top is open, and wearing a bra with it might look odd. But despite that wrinkle, I think this is one of the cutest crop tops that I've seen!
