As a general rule, I'm pretty much over button-down chiffon tops. BUT...for some reason, this one spoke to me! And what's even more strange is that I am NOT a fan of polka dots AT ALL! Why is this top so cute to me? I think I'm just going to have to accept this strange occurrence and keep it movin'!

They're the easiest thing to throw on when you don't feel like putting together a look with separates and they're really comfortable! This maxi dress (available for purchase here) is so cool! It combines several elements that I love together: including print mixing, cap-sleeves, and slits. And a great thing about this maxi is that the colors and the print will carry through all seasons pretty well (you can throw on a cute cardi or blazer during the colder months and just wear it as is during the warmer ones).

They're especially great for those girls who don't feel comfortable showing off their curves in a more form-fitting dress like a bodycon, for example. I like this swing dress because the cold shoulder makes this dress sexy without showing too much. And the best thing about a dress like this is that because it's so simple, you can go crazy with accessories!

This crop top is beyond fly! You can pair it with a cute maxi like they did in this photo, or you can rock it with a fun graphic pencil skirt like this one. I have to admit that this top might present a bit of a problem for those of us who aren't blessed with "perky girls" because the back of this top is open, and wearing a bra with it might look odd. But despite that wrinkle, I think this is one of the cutest crop tops that I've seen!

Like a lot of people, I too can be pretty cynical at times (actually most of the time!). And whenever I get a chance to express my cynicism through my choice of dress, I do. I've found the best shirt that sums up my general attitude toward people. I can relate to the sentiment expressed on this shirt because at the end of the day, pretty much everyone sucks equally! It's so much easier to just hate everyone than it is to scapegoat any one group in particular. It's more democratic! I'm just kidding! I like this shirt because it's funny!

What can I say? I love me some fake leather! And this fake leather jacket is phenomenal! It comes in a deep shade of burgundy (it also comes in black too) and has gunmetal spikes on the shoulders. Everyone needs a leather (or faux leather) jacket. They're the easiest way to make practically any outfit look flyer! Go on a try it for your self. You'll see!

I'm in my mid-twenties and I've been going through a little bit of a phase in the past year or so where I've been trying to wear everything I can get away with before I get too old for it. And one of the things that I always wanted but never had (until last year) was a velvet skater dress. I found one at a used clothing store and I fell in love. It's adorable, but it does make me look like I'm 12! I may be a little bit too old to continue to wear that one, but I thought I better get this out of my system sooner rather than later! But luckily, I found a skater dress that is a little more age appropriate. This dress from Nasty Gal is the business! It has sexy side cutouts, faux-leather trim, and an exposed zipper closure (all the details that I love). People won't be mistaking you for a little girl in this skater dress! They'll know that you're a "GROWN WOMAN" (sorry, I know this is the second Beyonce reference in two days but I just had too)!

Today's Fly Find is a little different from the other ones that I've posted previously. This time, my Fly Find is an entire brand. It's called UNDER and it's a streetwear brand based in Los Angeles. They have t-shirts and snapbacks that feature bold graphic designs in shades of black, white, and gray. I love this stuff! My favorite item is their "BOWDOWN" t-shirt. I know it's not made because of Beyonce's song of the same name, but I like it for that reason anyways (Bey is my girl)! Be sure to check out the rest that they have to offer here.

One of my fashion weaknesses besides leopard print is fringe. I just can't resist it! Fringe is such a fun detail because it brings drama and movement to your look, and you know I'm all about that! I love this fringe tank top because not only is the fringe in a contrasting color to the actual tank, but the fringe is sewn onto the top in angled tiers. So cute! Just looking at this top makes me want to twirl!

They're the ones that play around with the logos of well known fashion houses and recreate them with funny and clever puns like this one (which is obviously a play one the Hermès logo). One of my favorite designer pun shirts is this one by Criminal Damage which is designed to resemble the YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) logo, but has replaced the letters with currency symbols (yen, dollar, pound). Fly Find of the Day - Elbow and Arrow Bright Patch Blazer

This blazer, found here, is exactly what every girl needs in her closet! It's cut in a nicely fitted silhouette, but is adorned in an interesting horizontal stripped pattern. I know the rule is to be cautious with horizontal stripes because they make you look bigger. But the way that the stripes are staggered on this blazer (thanks to the princess seams) creates the illusion of vertical lines, which is know to be more slimming. With the added detail of the brightly colored elbow patch, you'll have a ball accessorizing this blazer!
